Property Perks Reaching a New Level

Gone are the days when a concierge, spa and well-equipped gym cut the mustard when incentivizing potential property purchasers in luxury developments. Buyers it seems, have got savvy, or at least more demanding and expect far more than a sauna and steamroom.
The Mansion, a luxury development by Clivedale London between Marylebone and Mayfair has devised an all-singing-all-dancing treasure trove of services for its well-heeled residents. When summoning the development car, guests are collected in a chauffeur-driven Bentley whilst weekly groceries are couriered direct from Fortnum & Mason. To keep in shape, residents can tap into the on-site yoga classes by revered Canadian wellness apparel goddesses Lululemon Athletica before taking a dip in the development’s capaicious 25m pool – the largest in Marylebone. Housekeeping is handled by Portman Square’s Maid of London and dry cleaning courtesy of Jeeves of Belgravia.
Remaining properties here start from £4.7million and are due to complete in April next year.
In One Blackfriars overlooking the Thames, investors have the privilege of their very own snow-filled wellness cabin to unwind in after a hard day in the city. Or if they don’t fancy catching a chill they could instead opt for a rainforest shower experience accompanied by a playlist of authentic jungle sounds. Other extravagant on-site amenities include a virtual golf course complete with whisky bar, a wine tasting room, hot stone massage parlour and 20 seat cinema.
Such extravagant incentives do seem to go hand-in-hand with the highest echelons of luxury apartments being launched in the capital but whether they truly help nudge investors over the line remains to be seen.
